Responsibilities: As a senior reporting/BI engineer you?ll work as part of the Global Business Intelligence technical development team on providing solutions to make information a competitive advantage for Nike. In this role you?ll collaborate with business systems analysts and our business partners to develop technical solutions that meet business needs, implement them into our production environment and provide third line support. Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
5 years professional experience in information technology
An additional 2 years experience will be accepted in lieu of degree
Knowledge of data warehousing principles and their application
Data modeling experience (ideally using Erwin)
ETL methods and tools
Experience with one of the following technologies: Microsoft SSAS/SSIS and Cognos
Ability to mentor and lead technical staff, assist with methods and process definition and provide expertise with technical troubleshooting issues
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English
Experience participating in multiple, complex projects and working with diverse teams in multiple locations

IT- EDI Engineer - EMEA Headquarters, Hilversum, NL, Netherlands

Main tasks

Mission: Work on EDI implementations and support within the Data & Integration team at an intermediate professional level. Responsibilities: Code Development & Configuration:

Work within the Data & Integration team, focusing on EDI coding and testing. In this position you will work with both internal and external customers, located throughout the entire EMEA region. Main focus is on setting up EDI links with our retail and wholesale customers (order 2 cash process), as well as integration with our various warehouses which support the region.

Testing:

Work together with business teams and external customers on creating test plans, focusing on business sign-off on new programs or EDI links.

System Analysis:

Perform application support, problem solving, and issue resolution. Analyze new requests for sustainability and (re-)usability and provide business contacts with systems advice during projects.

Standards & Best Practices:

Apply global process standards to system changes. Apply coding/ configuration standards and best practices. Maintain a close relationship with the global EDI team to ensure the teams are in line on standards used.

Technical Design:

Create basic technical design documents and contribute to advanced technical design documents. Assist in researching engineering tools. Assist in developing proof of concepts.

Project Support:

Identify and escalate issues and risks. Provides input to the definition of requirements for technical environments. Provides input on engineering task estimates.

IT- Sales PS business sys analyst - EMEA Headquarters, Hilversum, NL, Netherlands

Main tasks

Mission: Provides business software engineering within business IT solutions at an intermediate professional level to support the EMEA Sales department. Responsibilities: Analysis & Design:

Work with the EMEA sales business as well as the global sales IT-team at the world headquarters to gather and document tactical requirements from the sales business. Will need to perform technical analytics related to basic data analysis and perform basic systems analysis and document system processes. Also will need to coordinate and communicate functional requiremnts of the sales department and document basic functional specifications. Following that will need to validate that the system design meets the business process requirements and collaborate on the technical design. An important part of the focus will be on performing triage and trouble shooting activities. The main systems to support include nike.net (the global portal for Nike-retailers to conduct their business), Siebel/SROC (the order entry tool for the sales representatives around EMEA) as well as the Reporting environment for sales, besides a range of other applications aimed at driving the EMEA business from a sales point of view.

Project Support:

Work with systems personnel to implement the design. Amongst others will need to communicate project status to management and participate in the development of project plan/timeline. Will also be asked to provide input to project management and participate in change management at departmental and end user level. Potentially might be asked to lead small size projects.

Testing:

Perform testing activities including construction of test plans/scripts including the expected results and the validation of test results.

Biz Consulting:

Communicate and document system changes to biz. Assist with change management and translate system functionality into biz-relevant language.
