Main responsibilities:
Business//Financial Results

Category Leadership
?Drive and monitor progress against category seasonal plans. Create weekly meeting environment where members of category cross-functional team can efficiently and effectively receive and deliver information, share ideas and insights, resolve issues and/or seize opportunities all in the spirit of driving the category business through well understood, focused and fully integrated category seasonal plans.
?Facilitate information flow among cross-functional team members as to status of category seasonal product plans. 
?Lead Integrated Marketing process &amp;#40;advertising, events, digital, PR, retail brand marketing, etc&amp;#41; is tracking in support of category seasonal plans. Facilitate information flow among cross functional team members as to status of category seasonal integrated marketing plans.
?Lead the tracking of the Sales Process in support of category seasonal plans.  Facilitate information flow among cross-functional team members as to status of category seasonal sales plans.
?Assure Operations cross-functional team members receive information as to logistics, delivery and service expectations surrounding category seasonal plans and are set-up to successfully achieve those expectations.
?Assure category plans include relevant commercial and channel opportunities and deliver right segmentation and depth across the various channels. Drive category agreements with key retailers and retail planning
?Align with corporate responsibility to identify initiatives that will enhance and drive the category results
Consumer and Category Insights
?Partner with EMEA regional leads to identify leading edge, category relevant consumer insight capabilities.
?Guarantee that the country team is connected to the consumer and gathers relevant consumer insights at key moments in Game Plan. 
?Ensure that the regional idea generation, consumer insights and market information are fed into the regional category  team as deemed by regional Game Plan
?Provide leadership to ensure that the category plans meet the need of the targeted consumers, channels and accounts
Team Leadership and Development
?Lead by example and maintain a high level of motivation on the team as well as throughout the greater organization relative to the category business.
?Work with matrix partners to build and develop a strong and capable category team. Actively participate in the Talent Review process relative to the sub regional/country category team.
?Evolve organizational structure and collaborate with members of country leadership teams regarding role definitions, hiring and succession plans and individual/team development and learning.

Job requirements:
University degree &amp;#40;MBA preferred&amp;#41;.
Minimum 8-10 years directly relevant business experience working at a multi-national company.

&lt;li&gt;Minimum 8 years experience in a product and/or business related role, demonstrating strong understanding of retail buying, sales and product creation process preferably within the apparel industry and at a vertical retailer. 
&lt;li&gt;Proven success in understanding consumer needs and translating those into product recommendations.
&lt;li&gt;Demonstrated proficiency in assorting and editing a product line for profitability.  
&lt;li&gt;General financial skills and knowledge, including basic understanding of balance sheet and budgeting.  
&lt;li&gt;Proficient in leveraging all tools available to drive/inform product decisions.
&lt;li&gt;Must demonstrate fluent English language skills, with strength in both verbal and written communications and including meeting facilitation and presentations.  
&lt;li&gt;Demonstration of strong of cross team collaboration, and success working in a complex matrix environment.</description>
