Nike is looking for a designer of exceptional talent for our global bag design team. The right candidate is someone who is passionate about bags and has a Bachelor&amp;#39;s degree in Industrial/Product Design. We&amp;#39;re looking for a candidate that will push the envelope of the product category and create innovative and compelling design solutions. As our Graphic Designer II, you&amp;#39;ll utilize your exceptional design skills and knowledge of apparel products and processes to create innovative graphic designs for Nike Apparel. You&amp;#39;ll act as the Graphic Design lead and work within our cross-functional Category team to create a line from concept to reality. You&amp;#39;ll also lead design efforts in order to provide graphic concepts and designs that appropriately reflect Nike&amp;#39;s design philosophy, effectively communicate and present design concepts, and create and deliver powerful seasonal design proposal presentations. This opportunity also involves working with our Design, Development and Merchandising teams to ensure feasibility of designs, meeting price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines. As our Footwear Designer II for Sports Inspired, you&amp;#39;ll produce innovative footwear designs for Nike&amp;#39;s Sportswear Footwear category and create a line from concept to reality, under the direction of our Design Manager, Senior Designer and Directors. You&amp;#39;ll collaborate with our Design and Category management teams to create innovative product designs that appeal to targeted consumers and advance Nike&amp;#39;s design image and product performance. You&amp;#39;ll also proactively follow the execution of all product details, including construction, color, form, style, detail, fit, performance and cost/value requirements; produce and present materials that effectively communicate the category consumers, product concepts and creative strategy to internal and external audiences; and actively seek expert input to develop appropriate designs with regard to cost/value, fit and performance, manufacturability, sustainability, merchandising and aesthetic finish. As our Apparel Designer II for Action Sports, you&amp;#39;ll utilize your advanced design skills to create original, innovative designs that appropriately reflect Nike&amp;#39;s design philosophy and standards. You&amp;#39;ll communicate and present design concepts and produce presentation materials in conjunction with the Design and Category teams that effectively communicate the concept behind the Line for internal and external audiences. You&amp;#39;ll work with design leadership and Category team members in Design, Development and Merchandising to ensure design feasibility and meet price points, merchandising needs and product creation timelines. You&amp;#39;ll also provide prototype sampling information, including fabrication, trim, color, graphic applications, style, detail, fit requirements and construction detail. You&amp;#39;ll monitor the development of prototype samples and interact with Development, Pattern Making, Materials, Apparel Lab, Field Testing and the Sample Room to exchange ideas and ensure the timely completion of each project. This opportunity also involves building a deep understanding of current trends, color, technology and sports-related products through market travel/research in order to keep abreast of consumer and future design direction.
