Design Engineer - In-House Manufacturing - ,

As our Design Engineer, you'll conceive, generate and document complex designs using advanced 2D and 3D CAD software. You'll create and revise assembly and detail drawings and schematics and generate and apply a range of innovative design alternatives or options applicable to manufacturing processes, including machinery, components, tooling and facilities. You'll make design decisions based on alternatives/options generated; contribute to product configuration design as it relates to manufacturability; and team with engineers to lead original and complex projects from conception to completion with overall responsibility for project documentation. You'll also lead an assigned CAD project team by organizing and prioritizing individual responsibilities to develop, design and document mechanical equipment, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, complex multi-process, matched tool sets and plant processes for a manufacturing environment. You'll facilitate projects and interface with machine operators, machinists, vendors and any other disciplines as required to meet project deadlines. In addition, you'll configure and translate CAD software and document packages to meet internal and external needs.

As our Tooling Technician I, you'll be responsible for the cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of tooling and dies, and using engineering specifications from blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure production-readiness. You'll disassemble tooling and dies to perform cleaning and preventative maintenance needs. You'll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair defects and test tools to assure that they are in safe working condition as well as coordinate and communicate the status of repairs performed by vendors. You'll work in a cross-functional team with the Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Production departments to commercialize new tooling by monitoring and evaluating the performance of these tools for continuous improvements. In addition, you'll document and log all work orders and processes, and develop visual materials to display status of work-in-progress.

We are currently hiring for our Day 2 shift, which is Friday through Sunday, and every other Monday, from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Manufacturing Engineer II - Plastic Extrusion - ,

As our Manufacturing Engineer II for our Plastic Extrusion platform, you'll ensure that our Manufacturing team has the correct equipment and training to transform raw materials into finished product utilizing cost effective methods and maintaining specified quality standards in a safe working environment. You'll troubleshoot and improve existing production processes, assist in the implementation of safety projects and manage, define and document the processes and product development trial runs. You'll evaluate new materials with regard to process characteristics and application. You'll also specify, design, build/purchase and install new production equipment and maintain, repair and replace equipment and tooling. In addition, you'll research required equipment and provide technical support for our R&D, Sales and Manufacturing teams.

Maintenance Technician III - St Charles - ,

As our Maintenance Technician III, you'll maintain production equipment, buildings and facilities and perform a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic repair operations. You'll handle scheduled, preventive and breakdown maintenance tasks and assist with building, installing, troubleshooting, repairing and starting-up equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and electronic controls. You'll also operate a variety of shop machines and tools to mechanically and electrically repair equipment; install, identify, correct and maintain production and facility equipment and machinery through the use of troubleshooting skills, blueprints/schematics and manufacturer's specifications; and test and troubleshoot faulty equipment and electronics using oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters and voltmeters to locate defects. This opportunity also involves wiring circuits, controls and components in accordance with engineering drawings, sketches or requirements to build and make equipment function correctly. In addition, you'll train new and less-experienced employees.

Maintenance Technician III - ,

As our Maintenance Technician III, you'll perform maintenance on production equipment, buildings and facilities. You'll perform a wide variety of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic repair and fabrication operations, including performance of scheduled, breakdown and preventive maintenance. You'll participate in continuous improvement events and in projects involving fabricating changes to existing equipment, as well as fabricating new equipment. You'll also assist in building, installing, troubleshooting and starting-up equipment. You'll install, identify, correct and maintain production and facility equipment and machinery using troubleshooting skills, blueprints/schematics and manufacturer's specifications, and install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and electronic controls. This opportunity also involves providing maintenance to the building and associated facilities, including plumbing, lighting and structure. In this role, you'll diagnose mechanical problems and disassemble, repair, reassemble, test and adjust production and building equipment. In addition, you'll be a key member of the support team to ensure manufacturing success as measured by Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) factors.

Our facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have positions available for the following shifts:

Weekday shift from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm on Tuesday through Thursday and every other Monday
Weekend Night shift from 5:30 pm to 5:30 am on Fridays through Sundays and every other Monday
Week Night shift from 5:30 pm to 5:30 am on Tuesday through Thursday and every other Monday

Production Manager - ,

As our Production Manager, you'll provide leadership and direction to efficiently manufacture and deliver quality products that meet the needs of Nike In-House Manufacturing customers worldwide. You'll plan ahead to meet upcoming production demand requirements and ensure on-time product delivery. You'll adjust staffing levels to ensure required production capacities are reached. You'll also establish and maintain manufacturing systems/processes to warrant on-time delivery of quality products at the lowest possible cost. This opportunity also involves setting production standards and monitoring daily, weekly and monthly production and quality targets. You'll ensure targets are met or countermeasures are taken to improve deficiencies. You'll also provide daily leadership for Department Supervisors and help them set appropriate work-related goals. In addition, you'll complete and deliver employee reviews, establish developmental opportunities, and work closely with the Training department to identify training needs for Supervisors, Leads and Production Associates.
